A little closer to
another world.
The Reefwing is the first introduction to the imagined ocean life of Intergalactic Zoo. Its broad, coral-like fins give a small aquatic animal an expansive silhouette, opening the view out from the body into a fan of coloured shapes. Turquoise and warm pink details suit a habitat filled with unusual underwater planting.
Its appeal is in the fin movement, not in speed or aggression. Look at the outline as it turns through the water: the body remains a clear centre while the fins change the space around it. The Reefwing makes a welcoming beginning to Water World and establishes a visual rhythm that the later aquatic animals will vary with bells, shells, tentacles and much larger bodies.
A reef in the shape of a swimmer
The coral-fin idea belongs to the species’ fictional design. It imagines a swimmer whose outline echoes the reef around it, as though a small piece of the underwater garden had learned to move. The fins make the animal feel connected with its habitat while giving it a distinct shape of its own.
A clear first silhouette
A compact body and broad fins make the Reefwing easy to pick out in its aquarium. The colours separate it from the water and planting without needing bright warning markings. Watching a slow turn is a good way to see how the fin shapes fit together.
Your first aquarium
The opening Water World contracts use this animal to introduce the familiar park loop in a new setting. Build the aquarium, order the first egg and allow incubation to finish. The water campaign has its own progress, separate from the land park.
A happy creature starts with you.
- Open Water World to begin the aquatic campaign.
- Build the first aquarium before ordering the Reefwing’s egg.
- Return to the service area to care for the animal and collect income.
